• ELEV8 YouthYouth

  ELEV8 Youth is a Friday night run group full of games, food, fellowship, praise and worship along with some wisdom from God.
  ELEV8 is for teenagers aged 13 and above and its a good time to get to know other people and to get to know God.
  Every Second Friday starting from the 5th of March we have our Dramatic and very competitive games called the UPRISING with 4 different teams to be apart of it will be crazy!!!
  
  Nights are normally filled with games, Praise and Worship, a Message and a Cafe after the Service for dinner.

• UPPER ROOMYouth

  Upper Room is a Tuesday youth bible study for those interested come along and get to have fellowship with people the same age as you and come and learn true meanings from the word of God. There is nothing to pay and it is really a good experiance.
  
  WHEN: Every Tuesday night in School Term that isn't the first Tuesday of the month

  Well what a great first half of the year we are having since the move to St Philip's College Auditorium in the morning service.
  Already, the Elev8 Kids ministry in the morning has more than multiplied six times over and the 22 seater bus that goes out and picks up the kids is full each Sunday morning. Hence we are looking for either another bus of the same size or a bigger bus (a great problem to have).
  John and Marisa Sillince's team of workers has had to grow to cater for the growth and they are doing an awesome job with the children.
  In the main auditorium we have seen growth as well and have been blessed with some great visiting ministry - and have some wonderful visiting ministry booked in to come to House Of Praise over the next four months. (See our Events page for more details but we have Melvin Tan, Andrew Ironside, the Watoto Children's Choir from Uganda, Shadrach and Ephraim from Africa, Danny Naliah) over the next 4 months.
  We are also blessed that we have such good ministry from within the church.
  Also, Cafe Church, in our Auditorium in Tathra Street, has seen a growth of 50 percent since the new concept. This is where we sit around tables, coffee is served, the lights are a lot dimmer, there are musical items, and it's much more lay-back - yet the message is still to be challenging.If you're looking at this website, please phone us for any information about our visiting guests or just come along.
