About Us

We commenced the church in mid-August of 1997, in a small Community Hall in Point Clare, with a core group of around 14 people under the AOG banner.

After nine months - and with the church having grown to about 45 people, we started looking for something a bit bigger and moved to Dyer Crescent, West Gosford where we took a lease for 3 years on a factory bay which saw us grow to just over 100 in that period. With the hall becoming too small, we moved into premises in Tathra Street, West Gosford, which has been our spiritual home for the past 8 years.

But, after seeking the Lord, it was felt that for 2010, we would move our morning services into St Philip's College Auditorium in Narara Creek Road, Narara, where we would have more exposure and greater opportunities for outreach, while still enjoying a different form of church (Cafe Church) on Sunday evenings back at our Tathra Street Auditorium. We are at an exciting time in the purposes of House of Praise as the journey continues...
